Photographing what’s at hand, here’s Lily – 42.
I spent the weekend processing photos from a family gathering. I’m back to the blog with an Easter lily. Just a day late.
The buds visited in “Green and Black” bloomed yesterday and here is one of the flowers.
You may remember yesterday’s photo. I was lamenting that the bud was “late to the party”. It had finally started to open though it was far from the “prettiest” flower in the bunch. I walked into the room 12 hours later and…
I didn’t think this one would bloom at all. Better late than never.
These lilies won’t last much longer. I hope to get at least one more day’s “work” out of them.
There’s a lot I like about this image but my recurring thought is from an old pop song. Something about “Don’t tug on Superman’s cape.”
I couldn’t have created a more interesting arrangement if I had done it myself.
Thanks to all for encouragement and the advice. As my grandson would say, “Keep clicking, Steven”.
So, having commenced on this black and white path I can’t seem to stop. At least not today. We will see what happens tomorrow.
