Here is the final image in our “Iris Trilogy”.
These are the slowest blooming iris we have had. This is a good thing from my perspective as it gives me more time to enjoy them and capture their charm.
A friend stopped by yesterday and brought some iris for my partner. Needless to say I borrowed them for my own purposes.
Spring, like this iris, will appear in virtually no time at all. (I hope.)

When I awoke it was cold, cloudy and dark. My spring vigil continues.
I spent much of the day trying to create a floral arrangement to photograph and use in our Holiday card. I never achieved the result I desired and ended the day a bit frustrated. Fortunately I found consolation in this iris.
