We first featured this particular stem on July 24 and returned to it on the 30th, commenting on it’s longevity. It is still with us though this is probably it’s final appearance here.
We’ve had this anthurium for 9 or 10 days now and I noticed that it was aging in an interesting way. It’s developed new curves and wrinkles; not unlike my own experience with the aging process.
I thought I would take a break from the lisianthus and focus on the anthurium we found at the florists Saturday.
According to my sources, Wikipedia, there may be upwards of 1,000 species of Anthurium, I guess I’ve seen 5 or 6 and this is the first green colored anthurium I’ve seen or purchased. Guess I have a ways to go.
